Antonio Vivaldi — Art Print

A richly detailed vintage-style tribute to Antonio Vivaldi (1678–1741) — Italian composer, virtuoso violinist, and Baroque master. His portrait is framed by sheet music for La Primavera and his own words: “Music is the daughter of the air and of the harmony of the spheres.”

Four biography sections explore his life and legacy: his status as a Baroque Master and pioneer of the concerto form; his remarkable story as The Red Priest, ordained as a priest and teaching music at the Ospedale della Pietà in Venice; his Prolific Composer credentials with over 500 concertos for violin, cello, oboe, bassoon, flute, and more; and his Lasting Influence on generations of composers, including Bach, who transcribed several of his works for harpsichord.

A bassoon, leather-bound books, and a copy of Il Cimento dell’Armonia e dell’Invenzione complete the composition. Famous works listed include The Four Seasons, Gloria in D major, La Stravaganza, and L’Estro Armonico.

A beautiful and informative print for classical music lovers, Baroque enthusiasts, and anyone who has ever felt the arrival of spring through music.

Available in A3, A4 and A5 sizes, with a choice of Standard or Laminated in all three sizes. A3 and A4 prints are also available mounted on white foam board.
